TY Sean, for a well thought out statement, however; the problem is that we now have criminals sitting in every corner of our federal government, and they are no longer following the law, but rewriting and reinterpreting it as needed in order to extort, enslave, imprison, and steal from “WE THE PEOPLE…..!” Unfortunately, at this late date, there is very little that the American People can do to stop or reverse this process of enslavement, short of the employment of the use of force to stop these wanna-be tyrants!
I believe that the only way to win back our Republic will be at the business end of a rifle! I hate to say it, but only a 2nd Civil War will be able to resolve this Communist morass America has been sold into!

The government should be forced to prove their case every time, in court, not depend on their ability to play family members against each other.

This is the classic prisoner’s gambit. Both could go free if they stand firm but each gains an advantage if only one cooperates with the state. This should be taught in H.S. along with “don’t talk to the police without your lawyer present, ever.” They are much more important to civil participation than recycling and football games.

“Of liberty I would say that, in the whole plenitude of its extent, it is unobstructed action according to our will. But rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law,’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the right of an individual.”
— Thomas Jefferson to Isaac H. Tiffany, 1819

All to often people, patriots as well think that reforming our government will bring it back to what it originally was, and I do not mean post-Constitution. There is no freedom or liberty under any form of government that can write it’s own laws and subjugate the people to follow them or risk imprisonment or death

Just my two cents
