Camp Lone Star #37 Conditions? What Conditions?

Gary Hunt
Outpost of Freedom
April 23, 2019

KC was released and subject to the Conditions of Supervision, shown above.  He has the three-year probationary period, as indicated.  His probation was in Brownsville but he was allowed to go to the division where his family and friends are located, and where he could find work.

KC has, diligently, abided by reasonable impositions, often slightly exceeding what might be slightly beyond the Conditions listed.  But, when the Northern District got the primary probation assigned to them instead of Brownsville, things began to change.

So, let’s look at a bit of background.  Here are the acknowledgments of his recent reporting documents:

Those last two reports, you will note, are listed by the Probation Officer as both being (listed as) in March.  Note that the other reports are near the month’s end of the month following the report date.

Here are the current Conditions:

This begins a problem that has continued to grow out of proportion.  Even though the practice had been acceptable for the months prior to February, all of a sudden February is missing and there are two March reports.

So, now, the PO wants KC to drive all of the way to Dallas, to report in person.  The means a day off of work (I hope he doesn’t lose his job) and the expense of going to and from Dallas.

So, something rather typical of government.  They have “Conditions” that provide for only one report per month.  They have accepted Email reports that were filed well into the following month, without objection.  Then, they change the rules — no more email reporting.

Once it was taken from Brownsville to the Northern District, it becomes apparent that they want to mess with KC, perhaps to the point that they can send him back to prison.
