Gary:
As you can read in the timeline,
We'd been under investigation for four months, and that
investigation was conducted by the FBI's Domestic
Terrorism Unit. When my lawyer asked the prosecutor in
this case what the Domestic Terrorism Unit was doing
watching our house a full month before there were any
allegations of our possessing illegal weapons, he was
told, "We were investigating their (Cole's) possibly
dealing drugs." No shit, they actually are claiming
that they thought we were dealing drugs! The prosecution
also claims that Dan McNasby was a "concerned
citizen" who approached the FBI on his own. We know
that's a lie for reasons I can't spell out before trial.
But, it is also too much of a coincidence, in light of
the FBI's four month investigation, that he went to them
with the convenient excuse.
According to the discovery I've seen, so far, the FBI
spent four months building a file containing nothing but
information off of the Internet and even started watching
our house in March based only on our Internet posts, No
mention of firearms was made until April 23, eight days
before our arrest! In other words, we were investigated
nearly four months, and under surveillance for at least
one month, without any hint of illegal activity of any
kind. Even then, when allegations were made and guns came
into the picture, those allegations came from one source
with ulterior motives eight days before we were arrested.
Something stinks!
At the very least, the FBI targeted us a long time
ago, and then went to work looking for a way to put us in
jail at a time that would make them look good (The OKC
trial). Their efforts in this case have been structured
to play to the mass-media interest.
I hope everything is fine with you and your family,
and everyone is well. Please don't hesitate to pass on
this information and my address over the net or by any
other means. I see Wally and Kevin about once a week and
anything sent to me gets to them, one way or another.
I'll try to get their "inmate number" anyway.
I'll put together more information when I have more
stamps, and send it along. Thank you, and tell everyone I
said "Hello."
Your friend,
Ron
